All too frequently, LGBT people are forced to choose between their sexual/gender identities and the desire to know God. In this weekly conversation together, we hope to create a space in which we are free to imagine what unique offerings we as LGBT people might bring both to a religious community and to our brothers and sisters in the LGBT community who may have given up on God, church, and the spiritual path. This group is an ongoing drop-in group—so join us whenever you can.
About Matt: Matt Richards is a southern gentleman from Durham, NC who loves greasy food, politics, theology, the news, energy efficient road trips, and men with manners. He is presently a graduate student at the University of Chicago and pursuing ordination in the United Church of Christ.
