DiscipLeship Stops: Bible Study
Many inside and outside of organized religion are searching for ways to make sense of the Bible. But where do we start? We’ll visit key sections of the Bible including the Creation Story, the Gospels, and the Apostle Paul’s letters. We’ll read the scripture along with the book Reading the Bible Again for the First Time by Marcus Borg. We’ll consider the work of this scholar along with practical “so what” questions that help us find richness in the Bible for our own lives. Open for those who have never read the Bible, as well as those who have read it cover-to-cover. Beginning in late January, 8 weeks. Please let us know if you need assistance with getting a copy of the text or a copy of the Bible.
